Before replacing, please disconnect the power supply of the steps2. Disconnect several connecting plugs one after the other3. Unscrew the 3 bolts that fix the unit with a quarter inch socket4. Similarly, unscrew the other 2 green wires bolts with a quarter inch socket. (If there is fixed silicone on the surface, please scrape it off first to make sure the surface is clean)5. Replace with a new step control unit, and tighten the bolts one by one6. Reapply sealant if necessary7. Connect the wires one by one8. Reconnect power plug to the motor assembly9. Reconnect main step power (four way connector) while staying clear of moving parts10. Test the step and finishedFriendly Reminder:1. The color of the wires is not the same as that of the factory control unit, but it can be completely replaced2.
