Reminder: Fireplace doors should always be kept open while a fire is burning. These doors are made with tempered glass, which can withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees. Typical fireplaces reach temperatures between 500 and 1200 degrees fahrenheit. If you keep the doors closed during operation you’ll lose heat, ventilation, and moisture can build up on the tracks. If heat from the fire becomes too intense, the glass can shatter into your room. Ceramic glass is designed to withstand temperatures up to about 1400 degrees, however the cost is 3 to 4 times as much as standard tempered glass. They will not fit fireplaces made by "Majestic", please do not order if your fireplace is made by the "Majestic" brand.
